Liverpool Business Fair Celebrates Twenty Years At Anfield

The long-running annual Liverpool Business Fair, which celebrates Liverpool offices, businesses and innovations throughout Merseyside, is celebrating its 20th year with a huge exhibition at Anfield.

The event, taking place in March, celebrates the best of Liverpudlian business with up to 70 exhibitors hosting stands and networking with other businesses and potential customers.

As well as this, a slate of seminars and lectures offering business advice and opportunities will also be taking place that day.

These include the metrics that businesses should track to determine their overall business health, how to convert first contacts into long-running clients, taking advantage of social media and how to identify and stop imposter syndrome.

As well as this, there are ‘Ask the Expert’ sessions to give business owners the opportunity to learn from the best in their field, business clinics, start-up advice, information stations and other exhibits designed to help business leaders in the region socialise, network and collaborate.

The flagship event for Liverpool BA and a highlight of the Merseyside business year, Liverpool Business Fair has been running since 2002, initially taking place at Liverpool Town Hall before moving to Liverpool Cathedral.

Since 2012, it has been held regularly at Liverpool Football Club’s grounds at Anfield, as a natural conclusion to the event’s constant expansion, which coincided with Liverpool City Council providing a regeneration grant for the area.

This, along with the club’s new owners in Fenway Sports Group (owners of the Boston Red Sox baseball team) committing to a long-term redevelopment of the ground, which started with the expansion of the Main Stand from 2014-2016.

The surrounding Anfield area has developed alongside the stadium and reaped the rewards of the club’s increased profile and success, culminating in their sixth UEFA Champions League trophy in 2019, and their first-ever Premier League title (and 19th overall top-flight championship) in 2020.
