Liverpool Office Space To Benefit Growing Self-Employed Workers

Every small business owner looks forward to expanding their base of operations. You might find that your company is growing to the point where you’re selling more products and looking for a new place to work from. Whether you live in London or Liverpool, office space is an essential part of maintaining that progress.

According to the Office for National Statistics, the number of people that are now self-employed in the UK has continued to rise since 2001 and they make up around 15 per cent of the working population. The statistics show that those aged between aged 45 to 54 are the largest proportion of independent workers, while those between 16 to 24 have become the second fastest-growing self-employed group.

Jordan Marshall, the policy development manager at the Association of Independent Professionals and the Self Employed, said: “Being self-employed allows young people […] to work on the projects they are truly passionate about, when and where they want.

“But self-employment isn’t without its challenges, whether that’s getting a firm grip on your finances or finding work in an industry where you may not have many contacts.”

If you run your business from home, then you’ll no doubt like to keep your work separate from the time spent with the family. However, it’s easy to become distracted by something or the kids are causing too much noise – you’ll know it all too well with ongoing school holidays.

Once you spend time away from the house, you might find that your office allows you to completely avoid any distractions and focus on doing the important paperwork for your business.
