Liverpool’s enterprise is continuing to flourish as a Liverpool business creates ‘immersive learning and training environments’ for business clients and secures a £50,000 loan to fund further expansion from NPIF – BFS & MSIF Microfinance
According to Liverpool Business News, the Liverpool firm who specialise in creating “immersive learning and training environments” launched The Immersive Learning Studio as a direct result of demand from existing customers of their existing creative marketing agency, Studiowide.
Co-founders and directors, Carl Da-Costa Greaves and Kevin Melia recognised the need for a separate ‘sister’ company to their existing one, with a focus purely on creating and developing new and immersive learning and development environments.
The Immersive Learning Studio uses their passion and skill for digital to harness multiple technology services, including virtual and augmented reality. They’re planning to use this to deliver innovative ways of learning to an impressive list of global brands including; Rolls Royce, Lufthansa, Airbus and Continental Tyres.
The two directors approached MSIF investment manager, Andy Jones as both directors already had a long standing relationship with MSIF. Andy was able to identify the nature of their business needs, resulting in securing £50,000 of NPIF funding.
The loan is sourced from part of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund provided by NPIF – BFS & MSIF Microfinance and managed by MSIF in partnership with GC Business Finance.
The obtained funding will facilitate the further growth of The Immersive Learning Studio as well as fuel product development and expand marketing of their services to organisations.

Kevin Melia said: “We’ve enjoyed a long and successful business relationship with MSIF, and we continue to work with them because we’ve benefited from more than just the financial lending support they provide. It’s their holistic approach to working with businesses that motivates our decision.”
Andy Jones added: “It has been great and an absolute pleasure to work with Carl and Kevin again. After the success of Studiowide, I can only envision great things to happen with The Immersive Learning Studio.
“Both Directors have worked extremely hard and they have a great workforce behind them to propel the business forward, and further service to an extensive list of global clients.”
