Liverpool serviced offices could be the key to making your business more efficient, a recent survey has shown.
UK business could be losing millions every year due to the lack of efficiency that is experienced due to office design.
Up to three quarters of workers say that they are less efficient due to the poor layout of their offices, a survey of over 2,000 offices showed. In fact, a third say they have been forced to take time off due to the impact of their offices on their mental health and wellbeing.
The same number of people say that they dread going into work because of the office layout, the survey commissioned by Oktra found. Over a third said they would be less likely to take sick days or leave a company if it had a better environment.
Nic Pryke, Design Director at Oktra, said: “Companies do not seem to be putting enough emphasis into their office environment and this could be making staff less productive and could affect their wellbeing.”
“Intelligently designed and more vibrant workspaces could see a drop in those taking time off sick and may encourage people to stay at a business or organisation for longer.”
These results shouldn’t come as a surprise to many as up to half of workers have complained to management about their office environments.
