Why Serviced Office Space Makes So Much Sense

When you are looking to set up a new business, there are so many factors to consider that it’s very easy to get totally overwhelmed.

We understand this completely as it’s why we set up our business in the first place. There are so many businesses in Liverpool which really do need that flexibility, that we wanted to make sure this was what we were offering with our serviced offices.

Just like yourself, when we decided to offer the serviced office space here in Liverpool, there were some factors which are totally key on whether we’d give premises the green light or not.

Just like us when we were deciding where to settle, there are some things that you may wish to take into account too.

The first one being location.

You hear it when buying houses but it’s exactly the same with your premises – possibly even more so – location, location, location!

You will definitely want to ensure that your premises are easy to get to for both your staff and potential clients as well as easy to access in terms of transport.

Are they close to the public transport networks?

Is there plenty of parking?

These two factors alone can make a huge difference when looking at sourcing staff.

If employees are going to have to pay a premium for parking whilst at work, then you’ll either need to be inflating their wages to allow for this or that money will be coming out of their pocket. This could be the difference between somebody accepting a job offer or not.

Whether it’s them paying for premium parking themselves or you increasing their wages, it is a tangible cost based upon the accessibility of your premises. So choosing somewhere which doesn’t offer parking could be slightly detrimental both in terms of your bottom line and attracting quality employees.

Our offices here in Anfield offer plenty of parking on an unlimited and free basis. If you stopped to calculate the benefit of this alone for multiple staff members you get a really good feel for the value we try to offer.

Being only 5 minutes away from the city too means we are very close to all of the modes of public transport. This really gives you a competitive edge as it opens you up to so many more people who may otherwise not be able to get to you.

There are other considerations which may have a bearing on your decision, so here’s a handy article on what to look for if you are a startup or maybe in the early stages of your business…

As always, if you have any questions on where to get started or what is included within a shared office arrangement with us, we’d be more than happy to help with your queries. You can arrange to come and view our offices, whilst asking all the kajillion questions you probably have milling around your head.

We’ve learned from experience that you’ll have a lot of them but that’s perfectly fine by us – we’d love to hear from you!
